Dear Perth Road Public School Families,
My name is Martha Duncan, and I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new principal of Perth Road Public School. I have been an educator since 1998, beginning my teaching career in Toronto before moving to Kingston in 2003. For the past 12 years, I have worked in school administration, most recently at Elginburg Public School and Fairfield Elementary School. My time at Elginburg was so meaningful that my family chose to make this area our home.
My husband is a teacher at Loughborough Public School, and together we have two children—our son, who is currently in college, and our daughter, who attends Sydenham High School. We feel deeply connected to this community, and I am excited to continue building these connections at Perth Road.
I have heard nothing but wonderful things about the families of PRPS, and I am truly looking forward to becoming part of this vibrant and welcoming school community. I absolutely love my work, and I am eager to collaborate with the skilled and dedicated team of educators here at Perth Road.
