What's Happening at Perth Road Public School

The first day of school is just around the corner, and we are excited to welcome our students and families back for another wonderful year at Perth Road Public School!

Classroom teacher assignments will be shared with families, via email, on Monday, August 31. We know children may be feeling excited, nervous, or a little bit of both. Please reassure them that staff will be outside on the first morning, Wednesday, September 2, to greet students as they arrive. We will help every child find their teacher and ensure they get safely to their classroom.

To help us have a smooth and safe start to the school year, we ask families to remind children about bus safety expectations, including staying seated, keeping hands and belongings inside the bus, listening carefully to the driver, and using safe behaviour while boarding and exiting. Staff will be available to support students and help everyone begin the year feeling safe, confident, and ready to learn.

We look forward to seeing smiling faces, reconnecting with returning students, and welcoming new members to our school community. Here's to a fantastic year of learning, growth, and belonging!

School Council - Everyone Welcome!

We invite you to our first School (Parent) Council meeting on Monday, September 14th. Being a part of our School Council gives you updates on what is going on at the school and allows you to have your voice heard. Fundraising is another part of the committee. You can volunteer for as little or as much as you'd like! If you attended our Fun Fair in June 2026 you will see the amazing things our committee plan. Perth Road Public School is a community school that thrives on get togethers and celebrations.

We will have an election for our new chairpeople. If you'd like to nominate yourself or others please please email duncanm@limestone.on.ca.
