Emergency Contact Forms/ Freedom of Information Forms Due to Office

In the first few days of school, Emergency Contact and Freedom of Information Forms were distributed to each student. If you have not done so already, please review the forms and return them to the school as soon as possible. It is important that the school has the most up to date information to reach parents or guardians in case of an incident at the school, and our FOI forms have important details regarding students allowed or not allowed on school media outlets. If you are in need of another form, please contact Ms. Aly in the main office.

Terry Fox Run, Walk, and Roll September 2025

Perth Road Public School is proud to participate in the Terry Fox Run once again. This year's campaign is called Finish It! This year also marks the 45th Anniversary since Terry embarked on his mission to run across Canada raising funds for cancer research. During the month of September, people all over Canada and the world will be running, walking and rolling to support Terry’s Marathon of Hope and his mission of curing cancer. As a school we have set a fundraising goal of $3200.00. You can donate by clicking HERE.

Please join us on Friday, September 26th, from 2pm-3pm and support this important cause! Families are more than welcome to come and join us and there will be a basket for any cash donations you may have. We hope to see some family smiles at our event 🙂

Please have a listen and watch this inspiring video of Terry Fox, which is a part of this year’s campaign - Finish It!

Parking & Bus Safety

We all want our students to arrive safely and get home safely at the end of the day. We are asking for the help and support of families with a couple of things to improve the drop off and pick up routine.

Bus drivers are finding it difficult to navigate the school parking lot entrance/exit when cars are stopped or parked on either side. Please use the parking spots on either side of the of the parking lot and refrain from stopping in the entrance.

Please use the crosswalk and meet your children at the flag pole at the end of the school day if you are picking them up. For everyone safety, please do not encourage students to walk between the buses to get to your parked car.

Please review the safe riding rules with your child(ren):

The school rules should always be obeyed on the bus.

Take your seat promptly and sit facing forward at all times. Place bags and backpacks on your lap. Keep the aisle clear at all times.

Windows should only be opened with the permission of the driver. Always keep your head, hands and arms inside the bus. Throwing objects inside or outside of the bus is not permitted.

Talk quietly; the driver needs to concentrate to safely drive the bus. Be extremely quiet when at railroad crossings so the driver can hear if a train is coming.

Eating and drinking (this includes chewing gum) are not allowed on school buses at any time. Smoking/Vaping is not permitted on or near the bus

Always follow the bus driver/monitor’s instructions and be respectful

Thank you for your help with this!
